Enterprise Data Platform

Oasis: Modernizing enterprise research data workflows

Oasis encoded-data workspace showing a research dataset table

Oasis is a shared cloud platform for research data work that had been spread across different tools. I worked on it from early product definition through multiple production releases, designing the project-data experience and translating complex operational requirements into usable workflows.

The platform also had to fit an established ecosystem of tools and team-specific processes. I focused on making project data easier to access, connecting related workflows, and automating repetitive work where it made sense.

Where It Landed

Oasis progressed through multiple releases and reduced manual work in the workflows it supported. Adoption varied by team, and production use continued to shape the product as workflows and business priorities changed.

My role grew with the product. I moved from designing individual interfaces to working across workflows and the platform, then took on more design leadership while staying hands-on.
