Enterprise Deliverable Automation: Scaling report production

Built and evaluated working prototypes across Figma, PowerPoint, and Google Slides over three weeks.

Monthly and quarterly trackers required project teams and designers to repeat much of the same work. They updated data, rebuilt charts, corrected layouts, and reviewed the results, mostly in PowerPoint and Google Slides.

I investigated how structured data and reusable templates could automate report production without disrupting existing workflows. I defined component structures and data-mapping approaches, then built working prototypes across Figma, PowerPoint, and Google Slides to evaluate technical feasibility while preserving editable outputs.

The prototypes also exposed the conditions automation would depend on, including structured templates, consistent metadata, and production-ready data.

Prepared data flows to report production, review and corrections, and client delivery, with production and review repeating as a cycle — Recurring reports moved through repeated production and review cycles before they were ready for clients.

Figma presentation components, typography, color tokens, and chart modules — I structured reusable Figma components and metadata to test automated content population through a working prototype.

Where It Landed

Each prototype produced an editable first draft, demonstrating how structured data and reusable templates could reduce repetitive report production. The exploration also identified the technical dependencies necessary to scale automation reliably.

This was a three-week feasibility study and did not move into production.
